Olivas Valdez Inc. is a certified small business construction and engineering company with a focus on transportation infrastructure projects, serving both the public and private sector in Southern California, Oregon and Washington. Our mission is to provide excellent services to our customers through an experienced and unionized workforce. Our employees have created of Olivas Valdez Inc. a family in which every employee is expected to exceed on each single task and to think independently but with a strong sense of teamwork. The communities we serve are the top of our priority list and our hands-on management and workers through our relatively short existence have created close relationships with the neighborhoods we service. We are a small business and we partnership with small businesses for our material, equipment and subcontracting needs. Partnerships are based on respect, long-term relationships and understanding of mutual needs.
Brief History:
Established in 2000 by two Civil Engineers and former CalTrans employees, Olivas Valdez Inc. is a minority owned full service construction and engineering company which focuses on transportation infrastructure, serving both public agencies as well as private corporations.
In a highly competitive industry, Olivas Valdez Inc. has been able to main a steady grown rate since the company was first established. Management has been able to complete successfully (in operational and financial aspect) every single construction and management project the company has ever engaged in. Our corporate strategy is to provide our clientele superior quality services in a timely manner, with the intention of building long-term relationships based on performance and trust.
The main focus of the company is to act as a general contractor on transportation related construction projects providing services in two areas: construction services and construction management in the Southern California counties.
Certified as a small business company, Olivas Valdez Inc. concentrates in roadway construction projects such as construction of curb, gutters, sidewalks, American with Disabilities Act (ADA) ramps, intersections, bridge retrofitting and construction, freeway exit ramps, sound walls and other structural concrete-related projects.
