is to act as a general contractor on transportation related construction projects providing services in two areas: construction services and construction management in the Southern California counties of Irvine, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura.

Main customers are public agencies such local cities, local counties, state agencies and federal agencies. Some examples of the customers are: City of Arcadia, Burbank, Colton, Monterey Park, Rancho Cucamonga, San Bernardino, Thousand Oaks, and many other cities, Los Angeles County Department of Public, San Bernardino Department of Public Works, State of California Department of Transportation (CalTrans), and Alameda Corridor East Construction Authority.

Project: Overland Avenue Bridge Widening, W.O. E700314F

Description:
This project consists on widening of the Overland Avenue bridge over the 10 freeway in downtown Los Angeles. It includes 400 tons of bridge deck removal, 1,000 cubic yards of structure excavation and backfill, new concrete footings and retaining walls, removal and replacement of curb and gutters, sidewalk, AC pavement, new decorative metal railing and relocation of traffic signals.

 

Project: 4th Street Bridge over Lorena Street, W.O. E700201F

Description:
This project provided retrofitting of the 4th Street Historic Bridge to meet the latest CalTrans seismic requirements. Construction activities include replacement of arch piers, arch abutment columns, floor beams and a portion of the deck at new column locations. The project also provides for constructing a concrete jacket around all arch ribs, replacing arch spandrel columns and increasing the size of the arch piers and arch abutments pedestals.

Description:
This project consisted of widening the existing bridge deck by 30 feet, construction of new architectural barriers and improvements to the bridge approach and transition guardrails.



Project: Pacific Electric Bike Trail Segment II, SB-38-RA-0

Description:
The Pacific Electric Trail (PE Trail) is a multi-purpose trail linking cities along the historic Pacific Electric Railway Line. The work consisted of constructing 0.9 miles of 15 feet wide bike trail, which included excavation and grading, colored and stamped concrete ramps, stucco and rock face signs, new traffic signals, trail lighting, drainage improvements, irrigation and landscape improvements along the trail.

 

Project: Sound Wall on Concrete Barrier, 07-242004

Description:
The project consisted of constructing almost 2000 LF of 12 to 15 feet high sound walls including concrete barrier along Highway 10. Intense traffic control and coordination with California Highway Patrol were needed thru the duration of the project. Other improvements included; CIDH piles, asphalt paving, electrical and fencing, irrigation and landscaping improvements.



Project: Las Virgenes Creek Restoration Project, 06-07-12

Description:
Las Virgenes Creek Restoration Project included the removal of over 2,000 tons of concrete channel lining while replacing it with riprap weirs and other soil stabilization methods from Las Virgenes Creek between Highway 101 and the Agoura Road Bridge. The creek now has the chance to once again be an environmentally harmonious water channel with native vegetation replacing concrete and litter debris. Further area beautification included stamped concrete walkways, woodcrete fences and gazebo along the creek bank for people to enjoy the restored nature. This project won the Eco-Friendly Award in 2008 in Ventura County, California.

 

Project: Bus Stops Improvements, 7709

Description:
This project consisted of improving over 200 bus stops throughout the city, for the Norwalk Transit Department. The work itself consisted on concrete improvements, replacing old concrete benches and trash receptacles with beautiful pre-fabricated steel furniture, installation of steel canopy shelters, solar lighting, landscape and irrigation improvements. In some cases, the improvements included stamped color concrete, decorative rock veneer retaining walls, irrigation and landscaping improvements.



Project: Beaumont Avenue Bridge, H12260
Owner: San Bernardino County Department of Public Works

Description:.
The Beaumont Avenue Bridge at San Timoteo Creek Flood Control Channel consisted on constructing a 210 linear feet concrete bridge with ten (10) pre-cast I-girders, pile driving, waterline relocation, earthwork and pavement striping. Also, the project included significant traffic safety elements such as Metal Beam Guard Rails (MBGR) at the ends of concrete barriers and slope paving and erosion protections along all wing walls.



Project: Pico Canyon Channel Stabilizers, FCC0000640
Owner: Los Angeles County Department of Public Works
Location: Santa Clarita, CA
Completion Date: February 2005

Description:
The project consisted of constructing seven channel drop structure stabilizers located over one mile of earthen bottom channel. Additional items constructed included several thousand feet or retaining walls, reinforced concrete invert access ramp, removal and installation of concreted riprap, and other appurtenant work in the City of Santa Clarita.



Project: Pedestrian Overcrossing to 110/10 Separation, 07-184004F

Description:
The project consisted of widening the travel way through the elimination of the center median along the 110 Freeway. In order to accomplish this, the existing improvements had to be removed, the roadway section rebuilt, one bridge had to be widen, as well as installing new center median barrier. Project locatioin was from the 110/10 connector to 21st Street in Los Angeles, CA.



Project: Mission Road Railroad Grade Separation, 02-04

Description:
The project consisted of a railroad crossing grade separation, as well as the renovation and beautification of the intersection at Mission Road and Junipero Serra Boulevard in front of the San Gabriel Mission. Some work included; realignment of roadway at the railroad crossing, installation of 24" reinforced concrete pipe under the railroad tracks, removal and replacement of concrete sidewalks, driveways and ramps, parking lot improvements at the Mission Church, landscaping and irrigation installation, installation of decorative lights and decorative color sidewalks next to the Church.
